Bridal Suite
Avondale Chapel features an elegant, private suite where the bride and her attendants can dress, relax, and visit prior to the ceremony. This bright, sunlit room has luxurious wood floors, four lighted dressing tables, marble-topped vanity, and private access to the adjacent ladies’ room. Other amenities include a sitting area, a 5-way mirrored stage—great for viewing your gown from every breathtaking angle—and a dazzling bridal patio all perfect for pictures.
Garden Space
Our garden patio, with seating for up to 250, is designed to accommodate outdoor wedding ceremonies, featuring unique, lighted arches, live flowers, and lush greenery. Stately potted urns also enhance a classical English garden backdrop. An ideal location for an outdoor reception, the patio area is situated next to the indoor reception area—separated by a wall of large full-length windows—making it optimal for a flowing indoor/outdoor gathering.
Parlour/Lounge Area
Situated in a distinguished Victorian-era home built in 1884, the parlour and lounge area greets guests with a venerable presence. Your friends and family will be impressed by the original staircase, etched-glass door and brick fireplace, grand arches, antique light fixtures and period accent pieces. This dignified structure has been brought into the 21st century through the addition of solid hardwood floors (Brazilian teak and American Hickory), contemporary furniture, oversized front door, and modern design scheme, while still maintaining its historic integrity.
Elegant Chapel
The heart of Avondale is its chapel, which features wide aisles, signature greenery, and idyllic lighting. Its English-inspired chandeliers, candelabras, and arched windows are simply stunning. Formed with old world style, the wrought-iron fixtures display over 50 pillar candles that softly illuminate the magnificent stage. A wall of windows that frames 150-yr old elm trees makes a gorgeous backdrop perfect for your dream wedding.
